How to delete your Lift & Nourish account and what happens to your data

This page explains how users of the Lift & Nourish mobile app can delete their account and associated data. Lift & Nourish is published by the developer “Lift And Nourish” and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Follow these steps in the Lift & Nourish app:

  1. Open the Lift & Nourish app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Tap “Delete account”.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Once confirmed, the app starts deleting your account and its active records. Wait for the success message; if deletion cannot finish, retry or contact us using the email below. Completed account deletion cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app

You can request deletion by email:

  • Send an email to: [email protected]
  • Subject: “Account deletion request”
  • Include the email address used for your Lift & Nourish account and your platform (iOS or Android).

We will verify your request and complete the deletion. You will receive a confirmation email when done.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete:

  • Account details (email/username and authentication data)
  • Profile information and settings
  • Health and fitness data you stored in the app (workouts, personal records, programs, weight tracking, notes, food-diary entries, meal and macronutrient data, and dated calorie/macronutrient goals)
  • Your account’s in-app preferences, cached records, recent foods and pending changes on the device where you complete in-app deletion

An email deletion request removes the active server records after verification; it cannot immediately erase copies on an offline device. Contact us if you also need help removing its local app data; avoid clearing a device that has unsynced work you want to keep.

What data may be retained and why

We may retain limited information where required for legitimate purposes:

  • Transactional or financial records needed for accounting, tax, or legal compliance
  • Security logs and fraud-prevention records
  • Aggregated or anonymized analytics that do not identify you

Any retained data is kept only for the period necessary for the stated purpose and then deleted.

Deletion and retention timeline

  • In-app deletion: irreversible and initiated immediately after you confirm in Settings.
  • Backups and operational logs, where retained, follow their applicable retention schedules. Deleting active account records does not immediately erase every historical backup or log copy. Contact us for information about retained records related to your request.
  • Legal/financial records: retained for the minimum period required by applicable law (for example, up to 6 years in the UK), then securely deleted.
